Brady Borner

Inducted: 2007

Brady Borner was a standout pitcher at Wayne State College from 1998-2001. At the time of his induction in 2007, Borner was the school's all-time leader in wins, going 30-11 in his Wildcat career with 366 strikeouts in 316 2/3 innings pitched. Borner was a three-time All-Northern Sun Conference pitcher, two-time All-Central Region pitcher and was named the Northern Sun Conference Pitcher of the Year in 2000 and 2001. After WSC, Borrner went on to a successful six-year career in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, going 35-15 in Class A and Class AA with a 3.02 ERA. Borner was named the Pirates' Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2005 after going 6-1 with a 2.08 ERA at Class AA Altoona. He was inducted into the Northern Sun Conference Hall of Fame in the summer of 2012. Borner was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame on September 29, 2007.
