Public Invited to Majestic Theatre for Lecture on 2024 Eclipse

Dr. Todd Young will present a lecture on the upcoming solar eclipse. The lecture will be held at the Majestic Theatre in downtown Wayne from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2.

Dr. Todd YoungWayne’s Majestic Theatre will be the site of a lecture about the upcoming total solar eclipse. The Majestic Theatre is located at 310 Main Street in Wayne, and the public is invited.

Dr. Todd Young, director of Wayne State College’s Fred G. Dale Planetarium, will present the talk set for 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The total solar eclipse will move over the United States on April 8. This educational, entertaining, and interactive talk will provide audience members with the history, mythology, and anatomy of a solar eclipse, as well as the proper methods for viewing a solar eclipse.

Eclipse glasses to safely observe the eclipse will be available.

Solar Eclipse Talks

With the total solar eclipse coming April 8, Dr. Todd Young is offering a presentation to educate various groups and organizations on the science of solar eclipses.
