Wayne State’s New Student Registration program provides students with a smooth transition to college. More than 700 incoming freshmen have participated so far.
Wayne State College just finished another two days of its New Student Registration (NSR) program July 13-14. More than 700 incoming freshmen have participated this summer.
The purpose of the NSR program is to provide students with a smooth transition to college. All first-time freshmen are required to attend a NSR program in order to register for fall classes. Virtual dates are also available.
The program begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at approximately 3 p.m. Throughout the day, students can expect to meet an advisor and register for fall classes; hear from different speakers about academic preparedness, the billing and payment process, and services available at Wayne State; enjoy lunch; visit with staff from a variety of offices and departments; and meet other members of the Wayne State Class of 2027.
The last on-campus day of NSR is Friday, Aug. 4. For more information, or to check availability and register, visit the New Student Registration page.
