Stephanie Liska
Stephanie Liska of Wayne will deliver a commencement address on behalf of Wayne State’s graduate students. She is graduating with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. She is married to Robert Liska.
Liska earned an undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in Rural Public Administration and a minor in Agriculture Journalism. Her career has spanned 33 years of sales, marketing, management, and consulting. In 1997, with a business partner, she formed Beck Ag, Inc. and grew a consulting firm focused on Go-To-Market Solutions for clients across the agriculture industry. She transitioned from her leadership role in Beck Ag in February 2019 and remains on the board and an equity partner in the firm.
Liska said that her personal mission statement, to develop people toward exceptional performance, led her to complete her MBA at Wayne State. She noted that the combination of the MBA with her experience allows her to continue to consult and provides the opportunity to teach at the college level, specifically at Wayne State, ideally, working with some of the ag industries’ newest leaders.
