Dr. Lisa Wanek is an associate professor of criminal justice at Wayne State College. Before teaching at WSC, Dr. Wanek volunteered with adolescents at the Boys and Girls Club and the 4-H Youth Develpment Programs while completing her college degrees. She also taught classes at Iowa State University and Iowa Western Community College.
Dr. Wanek serves as the advisor for Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society.

Academic Interests
Dr. Wanek's research interests include bullying and victimization, especially parenting practices, and child behavior and treatment. Her teaching interests are bullying in American schools, family violence and criminology.
