Buffany DeBoer

Professor Buffany DeBoer teaches biology at Wayne State College. Before teaching at WSC, DeBoer worked at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln and then was the head of the physical therapy department at the care center in Wakefield, Neb. She also worked for Michael Foods in the quality control laboratory at Big Red Farms.

DeBoer also serves as a science fair judge and appeared in Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 2000 and 2005.

Academic Interests
DeBoer's research interests include morphology-associated virulence of trichomonas gallinae, and earthworms of prairie and agricultural ecosystems. Her teaching interests are general education biology and environmental science.
