Dr. Joni Irlmeier is a professor of education at Wayne State College. She is also the director of the graduate studies program. Dr. Irlmeier serves as the director of the professional development school and presented at the National Professional Development School Conference. She also mentors teachers in professional development schools.

Academic Interests
Dr. Irlmeier's teaching interests include literacy in K-8 school systems, as well as professional communications. Her research interests are professional development schools, literacy and student-centered classrooms.
