Bob and Debbie Ensz

Bob and Deb Ensz have been very active and supportive of Wayne State College and the Wayne community and both have a long time affiliation with Wayne State College. The two have been trustees of the Wayne State Foundation since 2003, serve on the Wayne State Foundation’s Scholarship Campaign Steering Committee and have established five scholarships at WSC. Bob served as Wayne Country Attorney and was appointed to the District Court bench before retiring in 2012 and was named Citizen of the Year in Wayne in 2017. Deb served as a learning skills specialist at WSC until retirement and received the Professional Staff Recognition Award from the Student Senate in 2012. Both served as adjunct instructors at WSC and the two were inducted as honorary members into Sigma Beta Tau, the international business honor society at WSC, in 2018. The Ensz’s have also been active in Rotary Club of Wayne and have supported the Wayne Rotary Club Rotaract Scholarship, serve as a mentor and board member of Wayne TeamMates and are active members of the Wayne State Athletic Department Cat Club while supporting many Wayne State projects and departments over the years. Bob and Deb Ensz have raised four children – Susie, David, Jeff and Marissa – and two of them have received degrees from Wayne State College.
