Marty Summerfield

Marty Summerfield was a loyal supporter of Wayne State College athletics. He attended Wayne State College where he was a member of the Wildcat baseball team and received his bachelors degree in finance from Wayne State in 1985. Marty unexpectedly passed away after a heart attack on February 13, 2007 at the age of 49. He was involved in numerous organizations in Wayne and was past president of Wayne Industries, Wayne High School Booster Club and the Wayne Country Club Board.Marty was posthumously inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame on September 29, 2008.
