Our first convocation in more than seven decades provided an exciting welcome for students and their families.
My sincere appreciation goes out to all of the Wayne State faculty, staff, and students who helped make fall move-in and convocation such a wonderful experience! I saw many happy faces and heard many complimentary assessments of the great help you all provided as families arrived to move our new freshmen into their campus homes. I appreciate all of the Wayne State employees who rallied around the event to create such a great introduction to the Wildcat community. Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork demonstrated what a strong institution we are and displayed the Wayne State spirit that helps make our educational experience one of the best in the state.
