Steve Elliott was born in Quantico, Virginia. After serving a four-year active duty tour in the Marine Corps and extensive travel experiences overseas, he received his B.F.A. from the University of Kansas and his M.F.A. from the University of Maryland. His large-scale sculptures and mixed-media works have been included in more than sixty exhibitions and collaborations in twenty-three states nationwide, including the ARC Gallery in Chicago, Illinois and 516 ARTS in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Recent international exhibits include the Manoa Art Gallery in Honolulu, Hawaii and a  collaboration with the Zentral Bibliothek in Zurich, Switzerland. Steve is currently serving as the Arts & Humanities Interim Dean at Wayne State College in Nebraska.
