Parking

Permits

All motorized vehicles operated by student, faculty, staff, and Rec Center members must be registered and have a valid parking permit, properly displayed, to park on the Wayne State College campus. In addition, all motorized vehicles are required by state law to be registered either in the State of Nebraska or the vehicle owner’s state of record. (Vehicles found to be in violation will be immobilized.)

A parking permit may be used only by the person to whom it was issued and only on the registered vehicle.

Types of Permits

A - Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Assistants

B - Recreation Center Members*

C - Commuter Students

D - Residence Hall Students

H - By assignment only in Parking Lot 8

M - Motorcycles

*Parking while using the Rec Center is authorized to the north and west of the Rec Center in addition to Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10. When utilizing the Student Center, parking is authorized in the indicated parking lots, street parking is not authorized. 

Student Parking Permits

Student permits can be picked up at the Student Affairs Office, Room 201 in the Kanter Student Center, two business days after submitting the online request.

Employee Parking Permits

Each employee at Wayne State College may purchase one faculty/staff permit for their primary vehicle at full permit price. Employee spouses should also purchase one faculty/staff permit for their primary vehicle at full permit price unless they do not intend to have a vehicle on campus. Employees may not purchase faculty/staff permits for their spouses or dependents. See also information on Temporary Permits.

Employee permits can be picked up at the Student Financial Services Office, Room 104, in the Hahn Administration building, two business days after submitting the online request.
