March 17, 2020 - While we transition to a remote delivery model for the remainder of the semester, campus will remain open.
Dear Wayne State Faculty and Staff,
I want to update you on the current status of the College as we respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
The College has suspended face-to-face classes and moved to a remote delivery model for the remainder of the spring semester, beginning March 23. Please see the student email that was sent to WSC students this morning.
Upon recommendation from Governor Pete Ricketts, all out-of-state travel has been suspended. Additionally, all nonessential in-state travel should be canceled or postponed indefinitely.
Since the campus remains open, you will have access to your office. However, if you would like to request accommodation to work from home, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate this process. Please limit face-to-face meetings/gatherings with 10 or more people.
I truly appreciate your patience, flexibility, and the hard work involved with managing this emergency transition. I know that everything we are doing will make a difference for our students – Thank you!
Please continue to monitor your email for additional updates.
President, Wayne State College
