The Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) application suite is ready to deploy to campus!

Greetings all,

Let’s rock and roll! Dance if you’d like, we (NATS) may or may not have just now ;)

The Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) application suite is ready to deploy to campus!

We are very excited to begin offering this product campus wide. That being said we would be remiss if we didn’t advise proceeding with caution.  Adobe software is known to be very demanding of computer resources once installed so there are few guidelines we need your help with.

  1. DO NOT install the full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.  Use the “Adobe Creative Cloud” application manager to ONLY INSTALL WHAT YOU WILL USE. It will be VERY IMPORTANT to be sure your WSC equipment and/or personally owned computer meets the minimum requirements for the software (illustrator, photoshop, indesign, etc..).  You can find a link to the minimum requirements along with recommendations and other information on this Adobe Creative Cloud project page.
  2. Classrooms and Computer labs.  All academic building computer labs now have the Adobe CC products deployed to them.  IF YOU NEED ADOBE CC IN A CLASSROOM please contact the NATS Help Desk to complete this work. We have a serialized version we will deploy, so that you aren’t using one of your two licenses.
  3. ONLY USING THE ADOBE ACROBAT DC application (to edit pdf documents).  Go for it! Most computer systems purchased within the past five or six years (and older) should meet the minimum requirements.

TO GET STARTED WITH INSTALLING THE ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD APPLICATION MANAGER visit this Adobe Creative Cloud help sheet to find instructions for Windows and MacOS systems.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!
