Wayne State College To Host Speaker Dr. Tom Osborne, Tickets Available For Public Beginning Jan. 25

Dr. Tom Osborne will present "On Leadership" on Sunday, Jan. 29, at Wayne State College.

Famed leadership expert, mentor, and former national championship University of Nebraska football coach Dr. Tom Osborne will be honoring Wayne State College with the presentation “On Leadership” on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. in Ramsey Theatre, located in the Peterson Fine Arts Building.

Wayne State College invites the public to share in this limited-seat experience. Students and employees may pick up a maximum of four public tickets in addition to their student or employee ticket, for a total of five tickets per individual. Tickets for the public will be available beginning Jan. 25, available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

This is a limited-seat and limited-ticket event. Everyone must have a ticket for admission. Doors will open at 7 p.m. for the event.

Tickets will be available in the Kanter Student Center Room 154 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, until all seats have been taken.   

An autograph and photo session will be hosted for only one hour from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., prior to the presentation. An estimated 45 people will be allowed to meet with Dr. Osborne for this autograph opportunity. This portion of the event will be hosted in the Kanter Student Center Elkhorn Room.  Admission to this autograph session will be first-come, first-served due to the limited amount of time. Not all individuals may have an opportunity to have items signed due to the time limitation. Individuals must show their ticket for the autograph session. No signing of autographs will be allowed after the speaking presentation after 7:30 p.m. No autograph or posed photo opportunities for the public will be allowed in Ramsey Theatre.

Dr. Tom Osborne’s writing is available at the local campus bookstore. His book will also be available for sale during the event. His recent book is "Mentoring Matters: What Every Mentor Needs to Know."
