Wayne State’s Fall Music Academy will begin lessons Monday, Aug. 26.
Registration is now open for Wayne State College’s Fall Music Academy for musicians and vocalists who want to learn new musical skills or fine-tune their existing skills.
Fall lessons begin Monday, Aug. 26, and run through Friday, Dec. 6. The $200 registration fee includes all lesson materials.
There will be no lessons the week of Nov. 25-29.
The Wayne State Music Academy serves those 5 years of age to adult with one weekly 30-minute lesson taught by a Wayne State music student under the guidance of Dr. Angela Miller-Niles, chair of Wayne State’s Department of Music. Piano or voice lessons are offered, with lessons for other instruments possible upon request. Lessons will take place in the Peterson Fine Arts Building; however, remote lessons are also available.
