Public Administration Minor

Public administrators play a major role in contributing to society by the decisions they make in the public and non-profit sectors. A background in public administration can open the door to a number of careers in all levels of government, the private sector, nonprofit leadership and administration, foundation management, and international relations. Classes in the minor will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, implement, and evaluate public programs. You’ll learn to think critically and analytically about public policy and institutions. By providing you with a better understanding of the dynamics in your own community, you’ll learn how to be a more effective citizen and public official.
