International Studies Minor

If you’re preparing for a career in the international job market, the international studies minor can help you develop the cultural competency and global awareness you need to succeed. Through courses in the minor, you’ll learn about international cultures and societies, which will prepare you to better understand global issues and help shape our evolving communities. Careers in international government, foreign affairs, and international business depend upon those who understand the values of other cultures in order to solve problems through diplomacy. International studies at Wayne State will also take you abroad, boosting your resume and giving you the experience and selfconfidence you need to take on the world when you graduate.
