Program Eligibility
You may be eligible to participate in the TRIO Student Support Services program if you are a legal resident of the United States, you are enrolled or accepted for admission to Wayne State College, you show a need for academic support to successfully pursue a program leading to a postsecondary degree, and you meet at least one of the following three criteria:
- You are a member of a family who meets the low-income criteria as established by the U.S. Department of Education
- You are a first-generation college student (meaning neither parent has a four-year college degree)
- You have a disability
