International Club

Activities

We have many ideas for fun, educational opportunities, and campus and community involvement. Join us to learn more about what we do and to help determine future activities!

A few of the things we do include: various trips (see links below), potluck dinners/barbecues, local trips to Omaha or Lincoln for ethnic cuisine experiences, give educational talks, help recruit new students, and the Annual International Dinner and Entertainment Night held each spring semester.

Upcoming Activities

The biggest event for the International Club is the annual International Dinner. The International Dinner is the biggest multicultural event at Wayne State College, with more than 200 attendees every year. This event has the purpose to celebrate and learn about other cultures through food, dances, songs, and many performances. The next International Dinner will be April 7, 2019.

Upcoming Trips:

  • Mount Rushmore in Black Hills National Park, S.D.
  • Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minn.
  • Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Neb.
