Favorite things about WSC: The best part about WSC is definitely the people! It was super easy to make friends on campus and very quickly the friends you made became family. The faculty and staff does everything in their power to help students achieve all of their goals. The professors here at Wayne State desire to help all students out and want to see each student reach their full potential! Also, the people of the community in Wayne are supportive of the college and all of the student’s. It is just amazing to know that you are supported not only by the people at WSC but also the entire town of Wayne!

Favorite spot on campus: I actually have a couple of different favorite spots on campus for separate reasons. My favorite spot on campus would have to be Bob Cunningham’s Memorial Field. While I was at Wayne State, I was a member of the Wildcat’s football team. The field was a special place to me because it was “home” on game days, and I got to play a sport that I loved in front of thousands of supportive fans! My other favorite place would have to be Bowen Hall. Bowen Hall has a special place in my heart since it is where I lived for my freshman year at Wayne. Bowen was a place where I met so many new people and developed lifelong friends along the way!

College search advice:  Make sure to start early! Whether it is meeting with your school counselor, parents, or various admissions representatives, start your college search early so you can make a decision that is going to be best for you. Make sure to plan visits to schools you are interested in so you can get a feel for the college atmosphere at each specific college. Making a college decision is all about you so do all the right steps to make the right choice!

Hobbies: My hobbies usually consist of me doing something outdoors whether that is playing or watching various sports, bow hunting for deer and turkey, or headed out for a day of golfing! I also like to spend time with friends and family as much as I can.

Fun fact: I held a Nebraska high school football state record for receptions in a career…until it was broken about 45 minutes later by someone else.
