Katie Hecht-Weber

Katie Hecht-Weber is an assistant professor of counseling at Wayne State College. She is a CACREP-certified school counselor, Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (PLMHP) in Nebraska, and National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Hecht-Weber’s teaching interests include school counseling and clinical skills and application, group counseling techniques, and development of counselor self-awareness. Her research interests include school counseling, educator wellness, group therapy interventions, and technology’s impact on human behaviors and experiences in schools.
