Emily Lasinsky is an assistant professor and teaches counseling courses at Wayne State College. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).

Academic and Research Interests

Lasinsky’s teaching interests include contemplative pedagogy, the integration of expressive arts into counselor education/supervision, and best practices to support counselors-in-training with personal histories of trauma. Her research interests include grief/loss, posttraumatic growth, career calling, and spiritually-integrated counseling.
