Dr. Sara Walsh teaches education courses at Wayne State College. She also serves on the Academic Policies Committee at WSC. Dr. Walsh has implemented the co-teaching during clinical practice model, serves as the contact for this program, and leads the training workshops. She also conducts service-learning projects with Wayne Community, Wayne St. Mary's, Wakefield, Allen, and Emerson-Hubbard elementary students at Ike's Lake.
Before coming to Wayne State, Dr. Walsh taught science classes for grades 7-12 at Elgin Public School in Elgin, Neb., for 11 years. She also creates science learning opportunities throughout the year for libraries, child care centers, and local events.
