Casey Hurner is the chair for the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership at Wayne State College. She is the co-chair of the WSC Student Council for Exceptional Children.
Before teaching at WSC, Hurner was a 9-12 special education teacher at Millard West High School, as well as K-6 special education teacher and 7-12 after-school program coordinator at Wakefield Community School. She also served as a 9-12 after-school autism program teacher.
Hurner is also a member of the Council for Exceptional Children.
