Sylvia Ruhl is an adjunct instructor in the education department at Wayne State College.
Before working at Wayne State, Ruhl taught English at Wayne High School for more than 30 years. She was involved with school improvement projects, Crisis Team, and development of the language arts curriculum.

Academic Interests
Ruhl strives to prepare future teachers. Her goal is to develop creative, organized future teachers who are fundamentally prepared to teach reading, writing, and vocabulary in their content areas.
