Jenifer Poulsen

Jenifer Poulsen teachers Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) courses at Wayne State College. She is certified in FCS by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS). Before coming to WSC, Poulsen taught FCS at Brigham Young University-Idaho and in grades 7-12 in Southern California public schools. 

While teaching high school, Poulsen was recognized as an outstanding Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) advisor. As part of her master's studies, she earned Excellence Awards for her Research Questions and Literature Review and Technology Production projects.

Poulsen's teaching interests include developing curriculum, educational technology, and fashion design and merchandising classes in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS).

Before coming to the Midwest, Poulsen lived in California, Utah, Washington, and Idaho. In her free time, she enjoys walking in nature, knitting, crocheting, cooking, and baking.
