Jeremy Wynia teaches computer courses at Wayne State College, focusing on the networking and hardware classes. He graduated from WSC in December 2020 with an MSOM in IT Management. While completing the master’s program, he worked at Network and Technology Services (NATS) as the primary network infrastructure and network security person for WSC.

Prior to working at NATS in the network role, Wynia spent three years working for Wayne Community Schools in a help desk role as the main point-of-contact. Before that, he worked for the NATS Helpdesk getting to know the people, culture, and campus.

Wynia has experience with numerous networking platforms, including Cisco, Juniper, HPE/Aruba and Palo Alto. He has experience working with multiple operating systems and coding languages. However, he is most comfortable when configuring networking equipment or writing firewall rules.

Wynia enjoys teaching networking and hardware and being back in the classroom drawing on years of industry experience to weave into lectures and classroom conversations.
