Opportunities
Staff members of The Wayne Stater are given opportunities to travel to regional and national conferences. We have attended the largest college journalism conference in the world, hosted by the College Media Advisors, in such cities as St. Louis, Kansas City, and Chicago. Students are rewarded with these opportunities for serving on The Wayne Stater staff in various editorial capacities: editor-in-chief, news, sports, lifestyle, online, or opinion page editor. There are also positions available as copy editors, graphic designers and advertising salespersons.
