Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE)
Wayne State College's industrial technology programs, including construction management, manufacturing management, drafting and design, and safety management, are accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE). Wayne State achieved accreditation in November 2022. The next reaffirmation will be in 2026.
ATMAE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as the specialized accreditor for “associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degree programs in technology, applied technology, engineering technology, and technology-related disciplines delivered by national or regional accredited institution in the United States.” ATMAE has been accrediting technology degree programs since 1974.
