Welcome Weekend

FAQs

Why should I attend Welcome Weekend?

The Week of Welcome orientation program is your first and best opportunity to meet and develop lasting friendships with fellow students. Informational, social, and recreational activities are scheduled throughout the week, which enable you to form a strong connection to Wayne State College and help you settle into your new home. Research shows that students who attend and actively participate in new student orientation programs persist and perform at higher levels when compared with students who do not.

Is there a fee?
