About Mr. Douglas

C.D. Douglas began his Vice President for Student Affairs duties Aug. 7, 2019. Prior to joining WSC, he served as the Senior Director for Multicultural Affairs and Student Support Services at South Dakota State University for more than 15 years working with first-generation and low-income students and students of color. Douglas' role as VPSA is to oversee the division of Student Affairs, which includes: bookstore, Campus Security, Campus Dining, Disability Services, Multicultural and International Affairs, Residential Life, Student Activities, Student Health and Counseling, and TRIO Student Support Services. Douglas met his wife, Caryn, while in college and has been married to her for more than 25 years. They have three sons (C.D. Jr., Carson, and Chase).
