Other Programs That Could Reduce Your Cost of Attendance

In addition to scholarships, you could automatically qualify for reduced tuition just by applying to Wayne State.

Advantage Program

The Advantage Program covers the remaining cost of tuition after your Pell Grant.

Eligibility: Must be a Nebraska resident, first time freshman, a Federal Pell Grant recipient and enrolled in at least 12 on-campus credit hours.

To Renew: You must file your FAFSA each year.

Award Amount: Varies based on your Pell Grant eligibility. 

Nebraska Access Scholarship Program

Reduces non-resident tuition to resident rates.

Eligibility: You qualify if you are full-time student and either are:
a) in the upper half of your high school class
b) have a 3.25 GPA or
c) have an ACT score of 22 or above.

To Renew: Automatically renews each year as long as you maintain a 3.0 GPA. 

Award Amount: This cuts your tuition bill in half.
