Share Your Wayne State Story!
The Wayne State Foundation, with Wayne State archivist Marcus Schlichter, is collaborating with PCI on an Oral History Project with our alumni. The goal of this project is to help collect stories about alumni experiences on campus and how Wayne State College has impacted their lives in order to help develop our Wayne State oral history archives. Stories and photos shared by alumni will be published in a Wayne State Foundation Oral History Project publication. The total duration of the Oral History project is about 12 months.
For this project, the Wayne State Foundation has partnered with PCI (also known as Publishing Concepts), a company located in Dallas, that publishes directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities, and military organizations across the nation. PCI will be reaching out to our alumni through mailed postcards, emails, and phone calls. These materials will have instructions on contacting PCI to update your information and share your Wayne State story for the project.

Update Your Information
As part of this project, we are asking alumni to confirm or update their contact information with the Wayne State Foundation. PCI will be helping us collect this data to return to the Wayne State Foundation. Names, addresses, and information will be held confidential by PCI, except to the extent that they are utilized in the Oral History Publication.
Do I have to buy something?
No. This project is being done at no cost to the Wayne State Foundation. This project is completely funded by the alumni who choose to purchase the publication at the end of the project. The book will be available in hardbound and digital formats.
