Cornerstone Societies

The Cornerstone Society was established in 1998 to recognize cumulative contributions to the Wayne State Foundation of $10,000 and above. It honors donors for their loyal and continuous support with a major recognition wall and electronic kiosk in the Kanter Student Center atrium.

Heritage Society

The Heritage Society was established to recognize and honor, during their lifetimes, those persons whose vision and generosity move them to support Wayne State College through an estate plan gift to the Wayne State Foundation. Members receive acknowledgement including an engraved nameplate on the Heritage Society wall plaque in the Kanter Student Center and listing in the Annual Honor Roll of Donors. Members who request confidentiality will remain anonymous.

President's Society

The Presidents Society was formed to encourage the active participation of alumni, friends, and business in the affairs of the college and to establish an exemplary pattern of annual support. Members are recognized for their financial leadership and counsel, which help fulfill Wayne State College’s mission. Contributors are recognized through Presidents Society membership at the following levels, beginning at $1,000 annually:

Lifetime Members
Foundation gifts totaling $100,000 or more, or an irrevocable estate gift of $100,000 or more

Circle of Excellence Members
Annual giving of $100,000 and greater

Benefactor Members
Annual giving from $50,000 to $99,999

Exemplary Members
Annual giving from $25,000 to $49,999

Leadership Members
Annual giving from $10,000 to $24,999

Distinguished Members
Annual giving from $5,000 to $9,999

Meritorious Members
Annual giving from $2,500 to $4,999

Patron Members
Annual giving from $1,000 to $2,499

Continuing Members
Sustaining members of the Presidents Society who were granted continued membership in fiscal year 1990-91 at the $500 to $999 level if their giving was uninterrupted and continuous.
