Morey’s balance of freshmen and upperclassmen makes it a good choice for living and learning at Wayne State College. Second and third floor areas are designated as freshmen-only floors. Morey’s large main lobby and information desk is a popular student gathering place between and after classes. It is available for freshmen.

Layout for Anderson, Berry and Morey Halls

Location: Morey Hall is near business and technology classes and ample student parking.

Capacity: Morey’s four floors are home to up to 231 residents who enjoy Morey’s traditional residence hall environment.

Visitation: The basement and first floors allow 24-hour, seven-days-per-week-visitation.

Furnishings: Each room has a bed, desk, and chair for each student, one dresser to be shared, and a lavatory/medicine cabinet in each room.

Bathroom facilities: Each floor has multiple restrooms and showers.

Air conditioining: Morey is not air-conditioned. Installing an air-conditioning unit in non-air-conditioned residence halls is prohibited.

Laundry: Morey is equipped with coin-operated automatic washers and dryers.

Keys: Room and mailbox keys are issued.

Refrigerators: Only one refrigerator per room is allowed. Refrigerators must be UL approved and cannot exceed 5 cubic feet or operate on more than 120 volts. A refrigerator rental service is available.
