Volunteer Information
This year the competitions are virtual, so whether you are new to volunteering or if you have volunteered before, you must attend one of the Zoom training sessions listed below.
Prior to attending a training session, please review this year's volunteer guide (PDF)*. This guide provides an overview of the competition and a description of the three volunteer positions needed:
- Moderator/Timekeeper
- Recognizer/Scorekeeper
- QuestionJudge/ChatBoxScorer
*If you have issues accessing the volunteer guide information, please contact the National Science Bowl or U.S. Department of Energy or Dr. Todd Young.
