The elementary education program consists of two years of classes through Northeast Community College and two years of classes through Wayne State College. The following is a sample program of study for the total four years.

Advancement to Level 2:  Acceptance to Teacher Education required before taking any 300 or 400 EDU/SPD level courses.

You will start a Bachelor of Science degree at Wayne State College prior to completion of the Associate of Arts degree from Northeast Community College. Complete the WSC application for admission during the fall semester of sophomore year. Official transcripts from Northeast (as well as transcripts from any other educational institution attended) should be sent to the WSC Admissions Office upon initial application as well as upon graduation from Northeast Community College.
