Steps to Admission

Visit Campus

Contact the WSC Admissions Office to experience campus, speak with an Admissions Counselor, and visit with a faculty member. Call 866-WSC-CATS or schedule a visit online.

Apply for Admission

Request an official copy of any and all transfer credits to be sent to the WSC Admissions Office. Transcripts may be sent through Parchment to admissions@wsc.edu or by mail to:

Submit Your Online Application

Instructions for Applying Online:

  1. You will need an email address to set up your account.
  2. You can save your application at any time and submit at a later time. 
  3. If you are under 18, you'll need to have your parent or guardian present to submit your final application.

You'll need to know the following information for your application:

  1. Your Social Security Number
  2. Your citizenship status
  3. When you want to enroll
  4. If you want to live on campus
  5. Your parent or guardian mailing address and email

Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships

Apply for Financial Aid via the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form.

Apply for any transfer scholarships offered at the current institution as well as at WSC.

Register for Classes

Once course schedules are set, and you have been admitted into Wayne State College, you will receive a letter for our Admissions Office with instructions for scheduling advising. You are asked to contact the Admissions Office to set up advising appointments for registration. We will work with you to schedule a time with a faculty member in your major area.  

In addition to setting up a registration appointment, we will ensure that you receive the information you need to make a smooth transition to Wayne State College.   

As a transfer student, you will be able to register for classes at the same time as current WSC students. 

Spring Semester - Registration typically begins the second week in November.

Fall Semester - Registration typically begins the first week in April.

Submit Student Health Form

In addition to the admission application materials, a Student Health form will also be required for each student attending. Print the health form here.

Apply for Housing

If you plan on living in student housing, you will need to fill out the application form and submit the appropriate one-time deposit of $50. You can complete the student housing form here.
