Unique Programs and Partnerships

Wayne State is home to several unique learning experiences. The Northeast Nebraska Teachers Academy (NENTA) program provides unique hands-on teaching experience. We partner with the University of Nebraska Medical Center for our Rural Health Opportunities (RHOP) and the Public Health Early Admissions Student Track (PHEAST) health programs. We also partner with the University of Nebraska for our Rural Law Opportunities Program (RLOP).

Beyond the Classroom

The best way to learn about the world is to get out into it. Our Service-Learning program integrates classroom learning with civic engagement. Exciting global adventures await in several study abroad opportunities, including programs in Greece, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. Challenge yourself in your program of study by participating in the Honors Program. The Dean's Ambassadors represent WSC and aid in the community, specifically in the fields of health, law, and engineering. We also offer many clubs and organizations that are specific to academic programs.
