The Wayne State Foundation works with the Alumni Office to foster relationships between the college, students, alumni, and friends. The Foundation forms close connections with alumni and friends, engendering a sense of appreciation for the outstanding education graduates received at the college and supporting the college financially by generating funds to further WSC's mission.
Criminal Justice CSI Facility
The Wayne State College Criminal Justice Program is proud to announce the construction of a Crime Scene Investigations Facility. This $350,000 facility will provide a practical training site for classroom instruction. Future criminal justice professionals can learn how to enter a structure that may have a crime occurring, and it will provide a site for students to conduct a crime scene investigation by collecting, documenting, and processing criminal evidence.
The Wayne State Foundation is currently in the process of raising funds to help with this project. Donations of all sizes are welcome and appreciated.
The foundation is proud to offer students more than $3 million in scholarships. In addition, through contributions of alumni, employees, trustees, foundations, and corporations, the foundation has provided funding for the Carhart Science Building Renovation, Campus Commons Outdoor Pedestrian Walkway, Memorial Stadium Renovation, U.S. Conn Library, and the Willow Bowl, among other significant projects.
A Thank You from the Wayne State Foundation
The Wayne State Foundation would like to thank you for your support! Because of you, more than 900 students received more than $3 million in scholarships, and we were able to support Wayne State College in many other ways. Thank you for believing in WSC!
