Wayne State Foundation
Since its founding in 1961, the Wayne State Foundation has focused on providing students with scholarships. With the initial scholarship support of $1,300 in 1962 to more than $2.4 million awarded in 2015, the Foundation continues its commitment to increase scholarships for Wayne State College students.
The foundation’s support of Wayne State doesn’t stop with scholarships. Through contributions of alumni, employees, trustees, foundations, and corporations, the foundation provided funding for the Carhart Science Building Renovation, Campus Commons Outdoor Pedestrian Walkway, Memorial Stadium Renovation, U.S. Conn Library, and the Willow Bowl, among other significant projects.
