Enjoy traditional Mexican music at this Wayne State College Mariachi Negro y Oro concert. Concert will be held on the patio of the Peterson Fine Arts Building. In case of rain, the concert will take place in Ramsey Theatre.

Mariachi Negro y Oro features a mix of instruments including trumpet, violin, vihuela, guitar, and guitarrón. WSC student soloists from Nebraska include Lexie Jackson of Gering, Chase Van Briesen of Bellevue, and Becca Kment of Plainview. Josy Mrsny and Angelica Zarate, both of Norfolk, perform a duet. The ensemble is directed by Dr. Josh Calkin, WSC Director of Bands.
