Rediscover the wonders of the holiday season!

Holiday Dinner

Surround yourself in festive ambience during the Holiday Dinner Concerts at the Beaumont Event and Concert Hall.

Tickets sold out quickly last year, so the Wayne State College Department of Music has extended this much-anticipated event to two nights.

A universal message of peace embraces the evening with performances by the WSC Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, and Women’s Choir. Special guests include a Bell Choir directed by WSC student Micah Schut of Scribner, Neb., and The Black Box Trio. Trio members include Kathi Angeroth on violin, Dr. Karl Kolbeck on clarinet, and Shelly Armstrong on piano. Repertoire includes Carol of the Bells, Silent Night, and the holiday lullaby Still, Still, Still. Poetic readings and vocal solos enhance the event’s festal spirit.

The Beaumont, trimmed in holiday décor, provides an impressive feast. The menu includes a Mediterranean green salad, grilled bistro tender (beef), rosemary roasted fingerling potatoes, autumnal vegetable sautee, and gourmet chocolate mousse.

Ticket prices are $35 each through Nov. 18. After Nov. 18, the per ticket price increases to $40. Purchase tickets at wsc.universitytickets.com.
