The Glenn Miller Orchestra swings onto the Wayne State College campus Thursday, Feb. 22. Fan favorites such as "Chattanooga Choo-Choo," "Moonlight Serenade," and "A String of Pearls" has made the orchestra the most sought after big band in the world, entertaining audiences for more than 60 years. The legendary Glenn Miller gained popularity through a string of hits, constant radio presence and celebrity at theatres, hotels and dance pavilions during 1930s and 40s. This exceptional event is presented by the WSC Black and Gold Performing Arts Series. The concert is free and open to the public, however seating is limited. Ushers will direct attendees on a first-come, first-served basis.
