Martial Arts and Defense Club
The Martial Arts and Defense club is for students that want to learn more about martial arts, and to give a taste of various styles while getting a good workout. Meetings are held weekly and styles practiced vary. The main styles covered include Taekwondo, Goju-Ryu Karate and Hapkido, along with others. Club members drill hand and foot techniques with standing bags and pads, learn forms/kata, and practice sparring along with some wrist locks, armbars, and takedowns. No experience is necessary.
