Theta Eta Sigma
Theta Eta Sigma is a national honor society for students enrolled in TRIO Student Support Services. Our mission is to promote high academic standards, foster increased communication among members, and honor academic excellence. There are currently more than 100 chapters of Theta Eta Sigma across the country. Membership in the society provides students with a strong support system, the opportunity to engage in academic leadership, and a source of professional networking throughout their careers.
Eligibility: Active TRIO students who are of junior standing (while transfer students must have 30 credit hours completed at WSC); have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and cannot drop below a 3.0 GPA for two consecutive semesters; must participate in two TRIO events/activities (e.g. socials, workshops, tutoring sessions) per academic year; and meet with their assigned TRIO advisor once a semester.
