Dr. Ralph Barclay

Dr. Ralph Barclay was a coach and administrator at Wayne State College from 1965-1992. He was the defensive coordinator on the Wildcat football team from 1965 until 1982 and also served as the school's swimming coach, guiding the team from 1965-68 and again from 1977 until 1981. His swim teams were 45-32 in duals and won four NAIA District 11 and Nebraska College Conference titles in the pool. Following his coaching career at WSC, Barlcay served as division head in the HPER Division until his retirement from WSC in 1992. Barclay still attends many WSC sporting events today. Barclay was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame in the fall of 1989.
