Connecting PS4 logo  to the Wireless Access Point


To 
Test Your Internet Connection

1. From the Home screen, scroll up to the Settings menu and scroll down to select Network.

2. Then, scroll down to select Test Internet Connection.

If the connection is not working, make sure you have registered your PS4 on the Device Registration Page. (See the Device Registration tutorial.) If you have already registered your device you may need to set up your internet connection. (See the instructions listed below.)


To Set Up an Internet Connection

1. From the Home screen, scroll up to the Settings menu and scroll down to select Network.

2. Then, scroll down to select Set up Internet Connection. Playstation 4 set up internet connection

3.  Set up a LAN Cable Connection or a Wi-Fi Connection

To set up a LAN Cable Connection plug the LAN Cable into the PS4 and select the Easy option. A new screen will appear stating that it is Checking Network Connections.

Once the PS4 is done checking the connection, the PS4 will state that the Internet Settings are Updated and is ready to Test the Internet Connection. At this point, your PS4 will be connected to the internet.

If you are still experiencing no connection to the internet please try restarting your PS4 and running a connection test. (See the previous section on how To Test Your Internet Connection.)

Setting up a Wi-Fi Connection

To set up a Wi-Fi Connection select the Easy option. Next, select WSC-Guest as the Wi-Fi network followed by Testing the Internet Connection.  At this point, your PS4 will be connected to the internet.
