Summer STRIDE

Summer STRIDE is an excellent way to give new students an edge by helping them prepare for the college experience.

Summer STRIDE is an intense one-week college course that simulates a typical week in the life of a college student. Participants live on campus, eat in the dining hall, attend class, use the library and computer network, and become familiar with campus buildings and services. There is also time to exercise, socialize, and use recreational facilities.

Summer STRIDE students should expect challenging reading, writing, and studying requirements. Please note that this is a college course -- students will earn one (1) hour of college credit and will receive a grade for the course.

In addition to course work, a variety of activities are offered outside the classroom.
