"Hello! I am the program's Retention Specialist. I am in charge of coordinating the Peer Mentor and Peer Tutor programs in STRIDE/SSS. I also serve as an advisor for our STRIDE students, assisting you in academic advising, financial aid assistance, career coaching, personal issues and much more! I graduated from Wayne State in December of 2004 with a bachelor's in Interior Design. I then graduated in May of 2010 with a masters in Student Affairs Practice in Higher Education. I am also an alumnae of the STRIDE program! I am currently taking part in a 9-month Leadership Wayne class that meets once a month to enhance my leadership skills, learn more about the Wayne community, and more about our state and local government!

I am married and have a stepdaughter, Karlee and two little boys, Brayden and Landon -- they keep me busy! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, taking naps, cooking, taking pictures and visiting friends.
